Its musicalization is like a breath of fresh air, it is a sure value, with which everyone will enjoy and you will not be able to stop dancing.

He makes dancers dream and excites on the floor with each of his musical themes, he likes to create waves of energy on the dance floor, through the different themes and batches that he is proposing, incorporating very lively curtains between batches .
Tango DJ JD Reus

Jose David started as a DJ when he was 18 years old, with vinyl records, he played all kinds of music in fashionable clubs, and in 1989 he managed his own dance club, Disco-Pub Latino.

For several years he presented a weekly radio programme, where he presented all the disco singles that were released on the market.

More than 20 years of work compiling and remastering the best tracks of tangos, waltzes and milongas, guarantee his careful musical collection, with an excellent sound quality.

He has been musicalising milongas, encounters, marathons and tango festivals for more than 16 years, mainly in Spain.

In 2008 he opened his own milonga in Benidorm, where he is the resident DJ of ‘Milonga La Pasional’, a very successful traditional style milonga.

He also has many years of experience as a dancer, teacher and event organizer, and as a good Milonguero he likes to enjoy good Orquestas and their different musical styles, being a great connoisseur of these. That is why his musical selection will not only make you dance, but will also make you enjoy, keeping the energy and creativity that the dancers need in every moment of the milonga.

His long career as a professional DJ has led him to play music for the most prestigious milongas on the national and international scene, where he imbues all his sessions with energy, originality and fun.

My passion for tango allows me to experience the development of tango at first hand for several years.

I have been organising milongas and encuentros and travelling to nationally and internationally events as a Tango DJ and dancer.

I gained my first DJ experiences in Germany, Austria, Italy, Poland and France at various Encuentros, Marathons and Milongas.

My musical style is 100% traditional.

I am looking forward to more exciting encounters.

His musical tastes range from the Vieja Guardia to today's orchestras.
The Golden Age of tango, in the classics, is what is most often repeated in his musicalisation, however, he considers that today's tango orchestras play a vital role, injecting contemporary and innovative energy into the tradition.

The careful handling of the milonga tempo and the constant reading of the dance floor are crucial elements of his approach. With creativity he seeks to provide a pleasant atmosphere, paying special attention to details such as tandas, curtains, silences and sound quality.

With a contagious passion for musicalisation, he is regularly present at Lição de Tango, in Oporto, where he started as a TDJ, but he also has a huge and valuable experience in several milongas, festivals and marathons, mainly in Portugal and Spain.

I have been providing music for 12 years in europe, China, Hong Kong and the United States during my professional travels. 

Dynamic music with a quality sound, a special energy with an ear for the ball necessary to keep the dancers on the dance floor. 

Organiser of several events such as La Mirada in Alès in the south of France (8 editions), but also the 1st tango festival in Martinique and Corsica.
